ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Kallie Knight, a bilingual, pediatric speech-language pathologist (SLP). I grew up in Houston and went to college in Utah. After I met and married my husband, who is a Rockwall native, we promptly move back to Texas and we're SO happy to be here. I'm a mama to one and a fur baby.

SPEECH & LANGUAGE SERVICES

SPEECH/LANGUAGE EVALUATION

Speech and language evaluations are available to determine the nature of your child's communication weakness and to provide relevant recommendations, individualized to your child.

RECEPTIVE & EXPRESSIVE LANGUAGE DELAYS

Language delays affect an individual's ability to understand and/or use language (e.g., speak). Services are available for early language and literacy. Services for gestalt language processors are also available.

SPEECH-SOUND DISORDERS

Speech-sound disorders affect and individual's ability to produce speech sounds, resulting in listeners having difficulty understanding the speaker. Examples include articulation, phonological and motor speech disorders.

EXECUTIVE FUNCTION DELAYS

Executive function skills direct our goal directed actions and lay the foundation for learning. Deficits in executive functioning can impact all aspects of learning, interaction and life. Support for students with ADHD is available.

STUTTERING

Stuttering can affect an individual's ability to freely speak and communicate. Speech might seem "bumpy" or "stuck."

BILINGUAL (SPANISH) SERVICES

Speech and language services can be provided in Spanish upon request. Bilingual Spanish evaluations are also available upon request.
